How You Can Help
There are many ways that you can help the Learning Disabilities Association of Alberta:
- Membership has Benefits!
Purchasing a membership with the provincial office or the chapter nearest you allows us to keep you updated on programs, services, and other LD issues that might be important to you. It is also important when we approach government and/or policy makers on important issues. Having a large membership tells them that LD matters to everyone.

- Volunteer!
Contact the chapter nearest you to see where there are volunteer opportunities in your area. Volunteers are the backbone of non-profit organization, and it helps to keep administrative costs down so that more funding can go straight to programs.

- Become a Board Member!
Do you have skills or talents that you can offer to the organization? Becoming a board member is a lot of work, but very rewarding. Becoming a board member allows you to have a say in how the organization is run and what programs and services are provided to individuals with learning disabilities and ADHD. Find out more!
- Donate!
Donating money to the LDAA or the chapter nearest you helps our organizations to continue to offer valuable programs and services to the community and in the province. All donations are eligible for an Official Tax Receipt that can be used during tax time.
